Dalis Freixa is the founder and chief executive officer of the H.E.R.O. Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that services homeowners by providing them with strategic advice, education, and resources to help them prevent foreclosures and save their homes. She is also a licensed mortgage and real estate broker, with degrees in business administration, finance, and computer science.
Dalis is determined to empower homeowners with the knowledge that they need to save their homes from foreclosure via educational seminars and her book, “The American Dream, It’s Not Forgotten.” For over ten years, she has been a tireless spokesperson and constituent representative, advocating mandatory changes within the banking industry to protect consumers.
Dalis is married to Alberto Freixa, and has two sons, Matthew and Nicholas. She lives in Coral Gables, Florida.
